A Ray of Hope

What a great afternoon. I did an afterschool workshop at one of my elementary schools with three teachers. We were learning how to use their student response devices, which are a great way to use tech to streamline grading and get lots of good feedback from students.

The great thing about it was how enthusiastic these veteran teachers were. There was no complaining, no grading of papers while I taught, no eye-rolling. It was all genuine interest and hard work.

I was so happy I offered to go back tomorrow and watch them use it in class.
